2008 ML350, Sirius issue. Help!
The interruption could last between 1 minute to 1 hour or so.
I called Sirius and after a sterile conversation with Phillipines they transfered me to their Technical Dept in Phoenix,AZ.
The tech. tried to reset my sistem but it did not work so he told me to go to the dealer because it seems that the antena is defective.
I went to our local dealer and I was told that the antena is OK but due to the merger of Sirius with XM for the MB 350 models 2008/2009 some problems developed .
MB issued a new software which should clear the intermitent problem except for some 34 channels which they are not capable to do it.
The topic number is L182.60-P-046929 issued on 11-03-21011
The dealer instaled the new firmware (software) but unfortunately 5 minutes after leaving the dealer. the issue reoccured even I was on a so called "good" channel.
I have to return to the dealer-Still have the extended warranty.
Did anyone heard of or had this issue? Any solutions?

Anyhow , related to my issue, the dealer called and they need to ask MB technical group for a solution and this is going to take a little while as the policy now is to communicate by Email only. No phone calls.

I do not think that it is the software as the problem is getting more and more intense, the interruptions are more often and for a longer period, but it seems that the answer is typical of the great customer service of MB. The more surveys they sent or money they spent to upgrade the dealerships , the lousier is the actual response to the cars issues.
Does anybody know where, at a national higher level, could I sent a complaint letter ? Or should I sell the car and buy another brand?

He kept the car for a couple of days, and luckily he was able to duplicate the issue.
The Sirius module in the Command was defective even it was not displaying any error codes.
They replaced it and for the last week I had no issue.
