I just had the front SAM replaced and a new battery due to a liquid spill under the passenger seat. I do not know if it is related, but now the comand unit is acting up. I am stuck on one radio station (FM100.3), I cannot scan, search for any other FM station, presets do not work, AM is not available, WB is not available, I can switch to CD, I cannot link bluetooth to my iphone. The MB dealer said I need a new headunit and quoted me $4000 for a replacement. I sent the comand (2.5 version) to an independent shop in Florida (mbspecialist), they said my comand unit is fine, it must be a fiberoptic problem in the car ???, I am confused and don't know what to do next? I would apprecicate any advice....
