Rear air suspension sag. ML 320.
The air suspension on one (rear) wheel has a tendency to 'sag' approx 2" if the vehicle is parked for 2 hours or more. It immediately re-establishes height and correct suspension once the door is unlocked or opened. It also emits a single 'hissing' noise over the affected wheel at the same time. It is then fine for driving and doesn't show again until it has been parked for a couple of hours or more. I have been advised that I may need the shock absorber and airspring assembly replaced.
Has anyone else any similar history with their car and are their any other known possible causes such as a leaking valve etc?
Thank you,
Peter.

Thanks mike, I have had both airbags and shock absorbers changed. Problem fixed. Not cheap though.

If they were not leaking they were not bad.
