Tapping into sport/comfort mode

Tapping into sport/comfort mode
Hi, i was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to get a GND, 5v+ or 12v+ signal when either comfort of sport mode is selected?
I'd like to be able to control some exhaust cutout valves with some relays and need a trigger source, whether momentary or constant (sport = open exhaust, comfort = closed).
The only thing i can think of is to take the power source from the corresponding Led's for each mode and use a transistor, but i'd like to avoid that for now.
Any help/idea would be appreciated
