Engine Wrrrrrr-ing sound
The engine on our 06 ML350 makes a loud wirring sound and it seems to be getting louder. Anyone have an idea what this might be?
Air pump of some sort? Power steering pump was replaced, and
the sound just gets louder. This is just anytime the engine is running....
not in motion.
I jokingly call it the couger-mobile, since my lady is a few years older than I and that sound is somewhat like that of a snarling cat. Rooww! Rooooww! when you rev it. I can hear her coming a mile away!
Oh, I hope she doesn't read this....
