My wife's bulb went out and I need to replace. What is the bulb number? It is the little bulb in the headlight that runs whenever the headlights are on or you can turn the switch and have it on by itself. If you are looking at the front of the car it will be the bulb closest to the grill or center of the car.
Also, how do you replace that bulb? 2008 ML350

I think they call those the parking lights. They are a tiny bulb and a pain in the @ss to remove. I just replaced both of them a few weeks ago. A serious pain but it can be done. I don't remember the number of the bulb, because I just went to Autozone and they looked it up for me.
Here's a YouTube video but it's still not much help.
Removing the grill and unscrewing the headlights would make the job a lot easier. I definitely needed long nose pliers for this job. Good luck.
