Just bought used ML350. First service items?
I just bought a 2009 ML350 with 62,000 miles. The on-board display says service D is two years overdue. Carfax does show a generic "vehicle serviced" message at 40K two years ago by a MB dealer with an oil change a few months later.
I'd like to do the oil change, cabin filter, and air filter myself to keep the costs down for my first service appointment. I'd like to get my local dealer to do whatever else is needed.
If I understand the maintenance schedule correctly, I probably need to have them change the brake fluid. Reviewing everything from 40K, 50K, and 60K, I don't see much else to do other than a whole series of inspections. It seems the brake and battery inspections are probably the most critical.
What else would you ask the dealer to do in my situation in terms of inspections or maintenance work?
Thanks in advance,
Bob
In fact, that's a good idea for all the drain plugs..
