Ml 500
Gas light
I am having a problem with my 2007 ml 500 gas light keeps coming on. I have done a smoke test, tightened the gas cap, and am still having the same problem with the red gas light turning on periodically. Usually turns on when accelerating from a stop. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I would replace the gas cap. It is not that expensive and probably the least expensive solution if it works.
