Hi all, I have an issue with the electric lift for steering column. Will move in and out but not up and down. The updown/feature was jammed, however now the motor runs but makes a grinding noise (but no movement).

I have heard that it may be a broken spring drive?

Anyone know how to access the motor and drive, what do I need to remove?
I have heard that you can simply access via removing the material/ leather surround. Any steps or photos on the process would be greatly appreciated.
