DIY Repairs on an ML 500...
I have a 2002 ML 500 with 238K miles that is starting to nickle and dime me to the point that I'm considering selling it. The exterior is immaculate but it needs some minor engine repairs, tune-up, oil change, etc. It also needs new rear brakes and the right rear window won't stay closed in the upright position anymore. The ABS light comes on when I have a passenger with me but goes out when I'm not carrying anyone. I also have had some trouble with it passing the CA emissions test. Other than the high miles it has never left me stranded.
It's been dealer maintained most of it's life but the cost of repairs is giving me second thoughts on whether I should keep it or sell it. The KBB value is around $3K and the repairs are about $4K.
Anyone know of a good website reference that could walk me through the repairs?
