LED kit headlight replacement

hello

my lowbeam blew last night and I am shopping for replacement. I saw in Amazon that he H7 lowbeam led kit are about 50 bucks for a pair and I am interested.

Would like to know now if any member have used those all in one LED kit where the fan itself is already built in.

Many suggestion is appreciated.

Thanks

they didnt workout for me, lights don't screw as normal you have to rig it and lights were scattered so I replaced with aftermarket HID lights.

I don't have an ML, but I've got aftermarket replacement LED bulbs in my old tercel, my wifes sonic, and my dad's truck, all work great and are much brighter than halogen. Be careful with cheap chinese ones, as the LEDs may not last that long, try to buy american made. But they should fit/work just fine.

Although LEDs will be better than halogen, you'll be better off with an HID conversion kit. Due to LED surface mounted light spread, in halogen housing, you'll end up with reduced throw distance and uneven lighting. HIDs are true 360 spread. We carry high end Morimoto HID conversion kits if interested. We also have CREE XBD LED kits if you prefer to stick with LEDs. Fan units although do better job cooling, have longevity issues in live vehicular environment and get noisy over time as dust/dirt/debris get in. Ribbon cooling is better all around.
