ML 320 ABS Traction code 5967

If you are getting the 5967 I would have thought it would be the same
I was able to just change the motor, had to flex the rear cover away to get clearance to remove and undo but not sure if the cover is the same on a w251

In any case it sounds like the motor - I just used a 2nd hand one from EBAY
Maj Dundee said something about brushes being worn but I could not work out how to change them - I think the 2nd photo has the motor shown
How far has your car gone?

With the key on check the following fuses with a test light. Do not pull fuses to check them. See video.

Thanks Maj. yes i checked it and they both lit up fine..im thinkin maybe the pump is bad :-( ..also is it true that the replacement pump needs to be reprogrammed for the car ??? is that dealer only reprogram or can a Indy shop with Star diagnostic can do it ?
No, the pump does not have to be programmed.

Vin is ..4JGCB65E08A081310 ,..looking at it from the top..it can maybe go back a couple inches..dont know if 5 inches though" ..attached is a picture at the bottom
If the brake lines are not in the way then you can probably do it. You will have to remove the motor from the bottom after removing the left front wheel well liner.
Remove the two bolts to the motor and make a mark on one side, so when you reinstall it, the bolt holes will be correctly aligned.
Please read this multi post thread on the subject and decide if you are capable of performing the repair.
