Don't hold back! Haha. Settled on a ML350. Now... there are many years and many models, i.e., 4Mattic, Bluetec and so on... This will be the first ownership of a Mercedes. So I need all the schooling that can be given. Please provide me with any knowledge, personal experience or something learned from ownership of the MB brand and more specifically the ML350. Thanks for your time and comments.
Lastly ive looked at carcomplaints.com website before and seems to offer a good idea of year and trouble reported. Does anyone else use that as a guide?

Make sure you have very deep pockets and big cargo pants pockets would help as a backup. Money pits but boy do I enjoy them. I would rather drive a 10 year old benz than a brand new kia chevy ford honda or toyota. And I dont mind spending twice for maintenance and breakdowns.

Yeah, I purchased my ML350 2010 4Matic V6 and I love the vehicle.
Gotta do a lot of research!! Just replaced Axles, Pads, and Rotors. Try to stay OEM as possible, however OEM comes with a premium which isn't worth the cost imho. Further researched that many aftermarket CV axles from your local autoparts stores are really bad quality. Lots of negative reviews I read throughout the forums.
Which led me finding an aftermarket CV axle manufacturer that that uses "TPE BOOT" and seems to be high quality like OEM. No problems so far! If you end up replacing your axles. Great Price as well, if anyone is interested just send me a PM.
My next project is figuring out which OBD2 scanner to purchase. I'm thinking iCarsoft MB V3 or the Topdon Artidiag800BT. Doing much research I can ATM seeing if the artidiag800BT is on par of the MB V3 or exceeds it. The iCarsoft seems to specialized in European cars, however Topdon Artidiag800BT looks like its made very very well.
