Help needed - Run Flat Indicator Inactive
Hi, I have a 2006 ML 320 CDI.
With the engine running when I scroll to the Run Flat menu I have this message:
The owners manual has the following info:
However, the "Menu: R-Button" is not displayed?
I have tried adjusting the tyre pressures, checked fuses, pressed steering wheel buttons in countless configurations but to no effect.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, I'll get it scanned and see if any old codes remain. It has had a history of ESP error messages before I replaced the Steering Angle Sensor so likely that an old code will need to be removed.

Went to a different MB specialist with STAR and he found a menu in the ESP/ABS Module that gives you the option to activate or deactivate the Run Flat Indicator. Hey presto, if you activate the system the "Menu: R-Button" appears.
So if "Menu: R-Button" is not displayed on your dash when scrolling to the Run Flat menu then the system has been deactivated and you need to follow the steps above.

I also use this example of a very simple tool that has saved billions of dollars and countless hours of time, but if you don't know how to use it, it'll ruin whatever you are working on.
I would be surprised if there isn't someone here who knows what it is.
