airmatic compresor

I got Malfunction error on screen with showing car and upper arrow. Also, I scan car with STAR diagnostic and it seems my compressor is going south - the message is shown after 10 min driving car due to compressor cannot pump required pressure.

I have 2 questions:

1. Where is located compressor (it is for rear side) ?
2. Can I drive car if I take out compressor for rebuild/further investigation ?

What is the code number?

Is the truck lower on the front or rear?

If you have Star, why can't you find the location of the compressor?

And you cannot remove the compressor and expect to drive.

Check for codes and we will go from there. Scan all modules.

I scan air compressor unit last night and I attached result. It seems that compressor is OK but I got leak between compressor and valve block. It could be reason why compressor cannot build require pressure.

The question: where is located compressor and valve block. Secondly, do you know what part I should be looking for (I assume it is just some pipe).

The compressor and valve block are located behind the front bumper on the right hand side. To gain access you'll need to remove front right wheel and then the front inner wheel liner. You can also gain reasonable access to the valve block by removing the front right foglight.

I recently replaced my compressor and noticed the metal clip holding the rubber hose on the compressor had pierced through the hose and was causing a leak. I was able to snip the end of the hose and reattach.

Thank you for your answer ...

I am wondering what it trigger you to replace air compressor. It didn't work or ....?

As I understand, the fixed rubber hose was part of air compressor module (entire part). Is it correct ?

I need get to air compressor before I get to some conclusion ...

The compressor had burnt out so needed replacing.

The rubber hose supply line does not come with the compressor and is held on with a simple pinch fit clamp.

I see 2 pipes on picture: rubber (black) and air (plastic) ?

Based on received code, I assume my problem is leak on black (rubber) pipe. I don't see how other plastic pipe could be a problem.

Is black pipe connected to block valve and what it is the purpose of that pipe ?

No the black pipe is just the supply pipe and vents to atmosphere. I think it rests around the top of the wing?

The plastic pipe is the one that supplies compressed air to the valve block. According to your test results its suggesting looking for a leak between the clear plastic pipe from the compressor to the valve block. Have you tried spraying a mist of water around the plastic pipe connection on both the compressor and valve block to check for any obvious leaks?

I got Malfunction error on screen with showing car and upper arrow.
That sounds like you have pressed the button to raise the height of the car and it has yet to reach the desired setting? Can you post a picture of the message you're getting on the dash?

It would be good to understand any other associated symptoms with the air suspension on your car? For example, does it sit level? Does one corner drop overnight?

you are right ..I bought plastic pipe (it is not coming with brass ring !!! - be sure that you buy that too) and replaced it yesterday.

Honesty speaking, I expected to be easier job - removing pipe from block valve is similar effort as change some of those bulbs in front of car I think it took me good hour to remove properly and put back.
As I mentioned, I didn't want do any testing for ~15 $ part. Once I took everything out, it didn't make sense to test it.

Good news is that I don't get message again (I was driving last night and this morning) but sooner or later, the compressor is next on the list.

I appreciate everybody on helping me on this.
