Hi, I was hoping to change my coolant and was hoping if anyone could tell me if there wee any tricks or traps to replacing it. My approach was pretty much the same as doing it on a 67 Falcon 6 cyl. Drop the hoses, let in drain, then refill through the coolant tank with MB coolant. I'd appreciate any advice on this and if I need to look out for anything. Thanks in advance

Be careful with removing the lower hose, breakage of nipple. Remember that the hose is above the radiator drain port, so you should also open it to drain the remainder.

Also, don't forget to drain the eng. block on both sides.

Do not use green coolant.

Mercedes coolant life is 15 years, so unless yours has been contaminated not really necessary to change it.
