ML 350 4Matic
2011 ML350

I was changing the brakes on my wife's 2011 ML350 4Matic and had trouble with the rear and the EPB going into pad service mode. My steering wheel looks like the following so it is a bit different than the videos and guides I've seen.
https://www.google.com/search?biw=19...gg9kx91M6JGTM:

Another issue I had was that my mileage would NOT show up in position 1/acc mode. It only showed when I first put my key in the ignition. Any ideas how I can accomplish this? I even called Mercedes dealers and they were either busy or had no idea.
Is this something I _need_ to do on my ML350 or only on versions w166 and above?

Thanks,
Alq

What does this mean?

Steering wheel off center means you need an alignment.

Question

Cant really help but have read threads on this site about changing pads and they mention some special procedure for the rear brakes, has to do with some control on the steering wheel. Hope you get it fixed.

I have read that too. I was specifically wondering about my car year, and if I need to do that or not. From what I read, it was only on 2012 and later models, but can someone confirm? Surely someone on this forum has changed rear pads on a 2011 ML350 before..

It's only on W166 chassis. Do you want the instructions to change the rear pads?

Thank you for clarifying! Yes, that would be great if I can get that.

Thanks again!
