2011 Mercedes ML350 (W164)
Sound System Replacement

Hello all!
I own a 2011 ML350 (W164) I was wondering if there was any way to replace the Harmon & Kardan sound system with either Bose or Burmester. After 6 years, the sound quality of my speakers has significantly lowered and I am now looking to replace them. Any advice, website links would be greatly appreciated.

it would be a lot easier and probably cheaper to just figure out which of the speakers are shot and replace them. However, I have a 2009 ML550 with harman kardon and it still sounds great.

I have replaced with Focal amplifier and speakers. Also, I put new Pioneer AVIC-8100 unit. I am not sleeping in the car and it could be overkill but I wanted to upgrade sound when I put new AV unit with all features.

I put amplifier on the back (side, where is first aid) and it is invisible. I got good installer and he made everything invisible. Sound is perfect !!!

You need rewire speakers
