Head's Up: Transmission fluid hose leak

I am having the 60,000 mile maintenance done at my mechanic in Berlin and he found a small leak on a hose that carries transmission fluid. Don't have a pic now but I assume it goes to the transmission oil cooler. The leak is TINY, just a few drops, and hard to detect until there's enough fluid to notice. Just a head's up to check for this when you need look at your engine. The leak can be seen from the front of the engine compartment, behind the radiator, left side as you face the car, looking down. I'll get some pics when I go pick up the car today.

This is the hose in question. The mechanic said he could not pinpoint the leak because he thinks the problem is in the crimps of the rubber hose to the metal tubing. That makes sense, the crimps might not have been done correctly and eventually started to leak. Fixing this, changing the fluid, filters and gasket also resolved the thump I was ocassionally feeling when accelerating.

Transmission hose from tranny to oil cooler. LEAK IN CRIMPS!

Had similar on mine at 70,000 miles. Except it was the long hose that runs past the engine. It had dumped a significant amount of fluid onto the undertrays.
