2 days ago, out of no where I got all those warning light on and couldn’t shift from park. I looked around and the break light switch could be the most probable cause.
But in my case I had also the wipers randomly swiping even if they were off and the ADBlue warning coming and going.
Yesterday I tried it again and had no warning at first but after 20min they start appearing again but this time I had no problem changing gears.
Could this be cause by the auxiliary battery or the main battery even if the car has no problem starting?
My truck is an ML350 2011 bluetech
The auxiliary battery comes into play when the main battery is dead and you need to shift the vehicle out of park into neutral, also used to assist in brake assist when the main battery is dead.
Like the other poster stated: Get the car scanned.
What's weird is that I got no more errors and the car works fine.
I'm still will go to my appointement tomorrow but I really suspect battery of some kind issue.
I cant see what relationBAS,EPS,ABS, ADblue warning and wiper activating by itself when turned off have in commun beside that.
I have the same issues, when it’s cold it starts ok and can select gears , as soon it warms up a bit like after 5 minutes or so, esp light then the rest of lights starts going off, transmission stops selecting gears no speedo no rpm. It keeps flickering on and off, scanner says can communication faults , replace every single sam module still same , did anyone manage to fix it ?

The first thing you must do is update your profile to include the year and model, is it gas, CDI or Blue and the country you live in.
Then you will need a scanner to see the codes in all modules.
