Blinking red battery symbol ML350 2009
hello everyone! I got a problem as blinking red battery light. Started about 2 weeks ago. I was driving to work and the red battery symbol came on and than disappeared and came on again. It was coming on for like 3 sec and than would disappear. It was doing it till a get to work( it was rainy day and it was raining before for a while) and I found out that rear camera wasn’t working as well. I let car in the garage for several hours and apparently it dried out because there was no more battery symbol and camera was working. I parked my car in the garage for next week but red battery symbol kept blinking like it was before. I’ve decided that it might be time for a new battery( the old one was about 5 years old), changed the battery and the car was fine for a day and than it started again. They symbol appeared only once in like two hour drive and than appeared again after 40 min drive and back up camera wasn’t working again. Like before car doesn’t make any noises and there’s no problem to start it. I was told that if it would be the battery the red battery symbol would stayed on all the time. Does anyone have an idea what’s the reason for such wierd behavior might be?
