Yes, you can buy the update from the dealer or online, it's a DVD and you have to NOT move the vehicle and put a charger on the battery posts under the hood to make sure the battery is not depleted during the update, which can take a couple of hours or more. If it's a US/Canada car you buy the US/Canada update, if it's a foreign car you buy the one for your region.
