Question Air ducts (A/C) under both passenger and driver seats do not blow air

Hi,

I've recently replaced the battery on my 2010 ML350 and noticed that the A/C air no longer coming out from the air ducts underneath the front seats. I vaguely remembered that they were working prior to the battery replacement. Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

VIN# is 4JGBB5GB3AA568208

Thanks.

Make sure you replaced the ducting that sits on top of the battery compartment.

Thanks. I saw the AAA battery tech who installed the new battery reconnect the duct. And I also did check to see if it's connected.

By the way, Am I correct to assume that even if the air duct wasn't correctly hookup after the replacement of the battery, the vent underneath the driver's seat should still work since it was not disconnected?

I also want to add that there is air blowing out from the central console. but there's no air underneath both front seats.

This sounds like it's working as intended.

In auto mode, system will only deliver warm air out of the floor vents - never cool.

If you set your temp to hot, you will find warm air coming out of the floor vents. If you then set the temp back to cold, air delivery will revert to come out of the face level vents.

oh cool. Thank you for taking your time to explain it to me because this is really unknown to me (a first time ML350 owner).

Thank you all for the valuable inputs.
