Adaptation/Software update/reprogramming of transmission

Adaptation/Software update/reprogramming of transmission
Is one if these "Adaptation/Software update/reprogramming of transmission" required to do when changing transmission oil at every interval ?
Is there possibility of trial version of this software to be installed in TCU ? If yes, how to check to avoid this.
Why i should do software update or whatever called to my car's transmission ? Once this was done by manufacturer. What happens ?
Transmission is not smooth when it shifts from 2 to 1. As far as i know, this is known issue with 722.9 transmission. Only way is o get the TCU updated, okl changed or conductor plate replaced.

I had the same exact issue and a fluid & filter change corrected the issue. Do not drain the trans. pan as there is no fill tube. Fluid is inserted into the pan by using a pump.
