Shift into P button issue

Hey guys,

I have a weird problem for a few days now, my car (ML320) takes a while to get into Park when I press the button. I have to keep the button pressed for like 5-8sec till it shifts in Park, sometimes I have to press 2-3 times on the button.

My brake lights are working fine, brakes are ok...and I get the error on diagnose 9347 Signal from selector lever switch invalid: button [P] - Intermittent

Did anyone experience this?

Thank you.

Where did you get this code 9347 and what module was it stored in?

It is not a valid M/B code. Delphi has assigned its own code number/s but the description is still not listed in the official list.

Grab the plastic covers on the steering column with both hands and gently twist them back and forth. Does it move?
