Transferring head unit
I recently took a comand unit (ntg2.5) out of a 2009 ml320 and installed it into my 2008 ml350. Perfect fit but I've lost sound as well as my back up camera. I've read that the ntg2.5 has a built in agw but that's not the only problem. I'm short a green connector and have a black connection with nothing to connect it to. I'm a DIY'fer. Any help?

Isn't there a wiring hornace of some kind that allows me to retrofit the command system? Navigation works great, DVD player shows video, bluetooth connects to my phone, I just lost my sound and I believe the black fahkra is for the reverse camera but the command head has no connection for it.

Old fakra for video was black, and I believe the new style is a double white connector. I can see it in your pic.
Try plugging your black connector into those if it will fit. Otherwise you may need an adapter.
Look up some wiring diagrams online for the new radio you have, and you should be able to find the pinouts/colours.
Also look at AVIN USA as they sell a replacement unit (android) and their install docs are very good. There was someone on the forum (either here or benz world) who posted their entire install with all the wire colours, and a few people had newer/older models and made comments. That thread should be helpful to you.
