2011 Ml350 bluetech
EGR valve Cleaning?
Engine light on a couple weeks ago, got a code 157700. the technician actuated the valve serval times with computer and the EGR was working 80% of the time. this indicated that the valve is sticking at time but working on and off. I wonder if cleaning will fix it or I need a new replacement.

Code 157700 says that there is an internal fault in the EGR. If you think cleaning it will help, then look at YouTube.

I means the pdf on individual steps, for example how to drain the coolant, I try to search youtube but I can not find related video on 2011 ML350 bluetec.

if I just clean the EGR valve not replace it, do I need to reset lambda values with diagnostic system base on the pdf?
