Can someone tell me what is the effect of a downstream nox sensor not working on the adule injector?

can the adblue injector still shoot adblue fluid if the downstream nox sensor is not functioning?

The dealer tells me that the downstream nox sensor is dead and if i try to connect the adblue injector directly to a 12V source it makes no clic sound at all.

It looks to me as if the injector is at fault , not the sensor
