Periodically, especially during the morning the truck will buck while driving. I took it to the shop today and the mechanic shows me 3 error codes indicating the transmission is slipping.

Fix: have it fixed or buy a used tansmission. Recommends I get it fixed since you never know what you're getting with a used one.

Does this error always mean it has to be replaced?
Any idea what the cost would be to repair it?

Has servicing it been tried? I usually do it every 60k or so.
