Air charge sensor help

My air charge sensor b17/8 is reading -50c. I replaced it and it reads the same. There are no issues on the other sensors. I have continuity from the sensor plug to pin 53 at the ecu. The sensor is about 1.89k ohms at 100f. Sensor unplugged I get 3.3v on the line from pin 53. With the sensor plugged in I get 1.89v. Plugged in or not it reads -50c

Ml350 bluetec 2010, with a tune, so no codes thrown. No can bus codes in the modules either.

At this point I'm thinking its within the ecu itself and that I should send it out for board repair. Does that sound right?

No it doesn't sound right.

If there were no codes, why would you change this sensor?

I have found with my ecu tune, there are no codes. (Edit, no codes from the engine control portion, like no check engine lights) So when it wouldn't go into boost I looked for sensors that feed that circuit. The only value that looked wrong on my scanner was the air charge sensor at -50 when it's at least 100 deg outside.

Oh man, this gets weirder. Fuse 101 is blown and when replaced blows again.

Here is what this fuse controls, red box.

Dropped off at the indie. I'll update if/when repaired. Also given the fact I dont get codes I might get asecond stock ecu to pop in when I have issues to make it easier to trackdown.

You might be barking up the wrong tree. That fuse controls two other components and either could be causing the fuse to blow.

MB world Fanatic indeed. you are right. I was able to see on the OBD side instead of going into the canbus modules the charge air temp actually reads something reasonable. Im using a foxtool scanner. When I put in a new fuse it seemed to work until it blows again, when it blows it like freezes the data, kinda? Now this time my map sensor reads 36.95 psi at idle, (4 when unplugged). I then disconnected my swirl motor in case it was that. The fuse didnt blow on the way to the indie and I didnt get black smoke, but It was way down on power. and the map sensor still read some bogus data.

My guess is there is a short somewhere.

I'm trying to help you but you do not refer to the cooling fan or the O2 sensors that can cause the fuse to blow.

correct. I ran out of time (I also have a newborn), before I took it to the mechanic. The cooling fan was operating correctly, but I did not check for a short on the 02 sensors, which could very well be shorted. I am still very grateful for your posts and the community.
