HArd start on ML350 bluetec

Hi. I am the sad / proud owner of an ML350 bluetec. I have
done a tone of work to this car in the past, (including 30+ hours
to replace the oil cooler seals) so I am not a total novice.. but
this one is driving me crazy.

The car has started to get very hard to start in the morning.
it takes 2 or 3 tries where the engine cranks for 10+ seconds
and will not start, then eventually dose. When it is running, it
runs as normal. Once warm the hard start issue is almost gone,
but not totally -- to me this rules out glow plugs. I have no fuel
leaks, and I have maintained it with filters (oil and fuel etc) very well.
The crank speed is "normal" and the battery is about 4 years
old. The car says in a garage that does not go below 50F.

I have the ICARSOFT scan tool (marginal, but way better
than nothing). It pulls codes, but I cannot translate them into
anything meaningful.

here is the code list:

111b00
130f00
16f600
16f700

P20BD
P20E8
P20BD

None of these code are in the Icarsoft data base, so if anyone
could help translate them from hex to "real life" I wold really
appreciate it.

Thanks!!

---Lou

Try this procedure. With a cold eng. turn the key to pos. #2, no starting. Wait 10 secs. and turn the key to start.

Also, does it try to start, then fails requiring you to try to start it again? How many times until successful? Temp outside?

What were the results of the test?

I do not understand what you have written above.
