M272 rattle after chain replacement
ML350 engine 272 967 30 685802.
I did balance shaft replacement with OEM repair kit. Soon after I got loud rattle noise in between 104F (40C) - 158F (70C) from camshaft adjusters. Zero noise at cold.
I replaced the rattling camshaft (left) and the next day rattling noise came from the right camshaft. So I replaced right camshaft too and the next day rattling noise came from the left camshaft. Zero errors, no check light. IDK what to do.
I replaced chain tensioner twice, oil and oil filter assembly, no luck.
