I've been beset by various light and door error codes, so I tried to inspect the rear SAM for water penetration but i'm embarrassed to say I cannot find it.
I've looked for hours at various threads which contained pictures, viewed russian youtube videos and used user submitted pdf files to take apart my trunk.
I have removed the fuse box, all the trim and found various things (white box under the trim, a rounded box with coax style wire near the spare) but nothing that looks like a SAM to me based on its pictures.
The only thing I have not taken off is a rounded plastic cover that is in both wheelhouses (red arrow on attached picture), so unless that is it, I am lost or looking in the wrong place.

I was basing my physical search on this document, which says right wheelhouse but till model year 8 - I don't honestly know if that includes or excludes 2011.

do you by any chance have or can point me to the instructions to get under the passenger side rear seat?
i've only found instructions of the 2012 model year..
