So I took the car in last week to the dealer one of the recommended services is to replace [ left intake port shut off end position sensor ]. Very costly for what sounds to be just a sensor. When I look at intake manifolds or just search for this intake port sensor I only receive the entire manifold. Same when I search the part number 6420902737. So maybe I could’ve saved time by saying do I have to change the whole manifold. Does that end position sensor come with the manifold.

Daniel, you can never trust any dealer for giving you the correct info. You must own your own scanner to read the codes. There are 36 pages of codes.
