Not locking from distance ML320 CDI 2008
Hi guys,
i have an W164 and there is a problem with locking/unlocking.
i need to be very close to the car or IR on handle to lock/unlock.
I tried to remove rear SAM and found some water underneath the SAM, opened the SAM and there was nothing significant.

can you help me with this?

There are so many components for Keyless Go and it could be any one that is causing it in the PDF.

You have to scan for codes in the Door Modules. A regular code reader will not help you.

I'm sorry , I got two different posts mixed up.

When you press the UNLOCK button on the Key fob, does the light #4 in the PDF illuminate?

Your problem could be a number of things, door handle, or antenna or the rear SAM. You must replace the the tail lamp seals to prevent future water entry.

You didn't comment on the tail lamp seals.

And the only way to find your problem is to scan all modules.
