Power Seat adjustment clicking
Hi everyone! Thanks in advance for your help on this! I have a 2010 ML350 4MATIC. All of a sudden today I heard a clicking/whirring sound when adjusting driver seat forward and backwards with the switch control. The same doesn't happen with the back rest tilting. Nor does it happen on the passenger size for any adjustment angle. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?
As a female, I get tend to get lied to all the time at the local garage . I'll end up taking it there anyway, but I at least like to know what the options could be.
Thanks again!
J

There is probably a foreign object that is stuck between the seat rail and the floor.
Move the seat all the way up and look under seat with flashlight and move the seat fore & aft for the object. If you cannot locate the object.............
Then you must remove the four bolts, and tilt it slightly the seat towards the door and have a look.
