Pressure Control valve

my ML350 Bluetec 2010

I need the part number of fuel rail pressure control valve
cause I have codes PO 087 & PO 088
and the work shop technician says that the valve which been installed is the wrong one as in the attached photo

You were the one that pointed to that part.

As you can see in the diagram there is no separate part and it seems it is part of the fuel distributor.

M/B does not show that part # and you said earlier that you were told it was the wrong part.

the engine turned off after 80 km/h several times

the technician said because of the fuel rail pressure control valve
mine was with part no. A 642 078 02 49
I didn't find the same no.
I found A 642 078 01 49
when install it the engine turned off at 40 km/h

so they clean the old valve with some sepry cleaned and the engine work fine

I went to Bosch dealer in Irbil - Iraq he said that the installed part is not the original part no. for this engine but he couldn't give me the right P. No.

Is that bottom fuel rail connected to the high pressure pump?

This problem is all caused by M/B. Instead of showing the part# at the end of the left fuel rail, they included it at the high pressure pump.

According to your vin# this is the part you need.

I google this p.no. found it's called fuel pressure regulator as pi pointed in yellow in the attached photo , so I understood that I have to change this part A 6420740284 not the pressure control valve A 6420780249
is this right ??

Today I removed this regulator found one of its side hole Clogged with something like mud
cleaned with sepry cleaner
hope this will fix the issue

it is
you see I became confused
here in Iraq there are no qualified workshop to deal with modern diagonal techniques
so I'm all ways get the right advise from you
