Could this be SAM related?
Hi everybody,
I got sick getting an ML and ended up buying a beautiful silver ML W164 with sunroof. This car is with me for a week and already started to show some messages on display. Left & right turn signal fault.
When turn signal is on, the indicator blinks faster and wrong light is blinking on the back...the top red one. Front and mirror signals are okay.
It is the same on both sides. When i hit 4-way flashers, correct yellow turn signal lights are blinking and speed of the indicator on the dashboard is normal.
After digging the internet I've came across that sunroof drain tubes flooding rear SAM module at the back. Its been raining here for whole week. I've seen videos of SAM units being corroded but with much more errors.
Could this also apply on my case?

I went out testing again, all switches... no, it is not a blown bulb. All lights are lit at one point... When dipped beam is lit... front left fog light is also lit even though the switch is not pulled out to fog position... and that is also strange.
When i hit emergency 4 blinkers... as I said before, all yellow blinkers are pulsating which is the only thing that is normal, but when I hit turn signal... at the back upper part that is break lights are flashing instead of Transparent/yellow part of the rear light.
I noticed also that dipped and long range beams are weak comparing to other cars on the road. Even my W203 have much brighter beam with H7's but this one has xeon
She will need to see a doctor
