Valve Cover Installation - 2006 ML500

I ordered valve cover rubber gaskets and the set of vacuum hoses for for both valve covers from Merc dealer. The gaskets I received are quite thinner than the ones I removed, is this how they're supposed to be. Not sure the existing ones are after market or original.
Also, I received 4 preformed vac hoses. I can identify 2 for left and one for the right side. I'm hoping to get some guidance on where the 4th hose is installed.
Thank you.

When you got the gaskets from M/B, did they come with a cardboard backing wrapped in plastic?

What are the part # for the hoses?

So if it came like that way, then what is the problem? It had the part # on it.

And you have not answered my second question. This stuff is getting tiring.

Hi Major,
To remove hoses 152 & 170 does the MAF sensor bracket has to be taken out first. I've been trying to see if I can get them out as is but it looks impossible to me!
Thanks,

Did you break any of the 152 or 170 hoses while trying to remove them?

Of course! The edges cracked as soon as I touched them. The right one didn't though. I got the set and changing them all before I put the valve cover back on.

To get better access to the MAF, you will have to remove the water repellent.

Maj, I need your help, found your input on an old post and tried messaging you but you've opted not to receive messages from other members for now. If you see this, please get in touch.
