$100 Brake Job?
That's the plan.
I've used Brembos before. I'm picky about brakes....

Bendix is supposed to be decent. These are very decent for the money. Amazon is a candyland if you are not too picky about rotors.
Ok, I went over budget on my $8 long-life brake fluid, but used a discount code on the pads.

Yeah, no. Amazon excels at reselling items that have damaged boxes or otherwise returned. Different types of items have a detailed description of their condition, but auto parts or brake rotors in particular, they arrive with maybe a boot print on the box, that's about it. It's pretty hard to damage a rotor with bare hands, and if I complain Amazon will just comp it, no biggie.
I did a $125 front brake job on my C240 2 years ago. Bosch Quietcast rotors, which are nice and were discounted the same way. Went with slightly discounted EBC Ultimax 2 pads from a distributor. They worked awesome, I wish I could get the EBC again, but at $110 no way, the Brembos were half the price. Basically I look for the product I can get the best deal on. I have no probs with $35 Wagner ThermoQuiet, or Centric Posiquiet and a dozen other good pads that cost more, but with the Brembo Sofa King cheap, an extra $10, it was an easy call.
Yes, I embrace the challenge of cheap brakes, but not at the expense of performance.

I agree with buying good parts without overpaying, people don't realize what you can get the same exact part for if you try a little bit. Many people just gladly pay the markup and feel better with the lighter wallet, I'm too cheap for that. Rockauto often has surprisingly good deals on closeout things as well.

I checked a bunch of places, inc Rock Auto.
I could have spent a little more money, no problem, but I keep a bunch of cars on the road and go through them pretty fast...so it gets to be an expensive hobby.
These Brembo rotors were tempting for $135/pair....

Thanks for posting this. I put OEM front brakes and rotors on my ML350 24 months ago and now the sensor is going off. Was checking for a better, cheaper aftermarket solution. 24 months is just way too fast to be replacing pads and rotors for the mileage I put on, IMO. I’ll check these out.
BTW. Can these rotors be turned? I don’t know the thickness limit for them.
Wait. I don’t know what car you have but none of these parts fit my truck.

Once you can feel a substantial lip on the edge of the rotor, it's not re-usable nor is it turnable (imo).
I have a hard time thinking that 24 months killed your brakes. The sensor could signal low pads without them actually being gone, Best to have a look directly at them.
The sets I posted are for my 2010 ML 350, the only difference is for the AMG models get a unique rotor, you know it when you see it.
I'd be happy to look over the available parts, those Bendix rotors at $45 are a nice choice. Turning rotors costs $20 anyway....
For pads, sure get the Brembos or whatever you like. Most are $40 for store brands and $65 for OEM supplier style pads. Let me know if you want some specific ones.

Yes, that was my plan too. The Wagner Thermoquiet at $35 was looking good for pads-only job. Once I got the $45 price on the Brembos, I recalculated myself into new rotors too.
I hope it works out for you. The other idea I had was aggressive pads like Hawk or EBC SUV/Green to kill the old rotors, but they were $90+.
If the outer pads look low, definitely the inner pads are even lower.
