Mercedes ML W164 2007
Error Code 2510-1&2530-2
Hello Everyone
I received purchased a Mercedes ML320 CDI 2007 Model W164, which had 45 000km. The Car had a Full Service History from the Dealers/Agents. The vehicle developed an issue where it could not accelerate above 60km/h. This issue is occurring more frequently and each time switching the vehicle off and then on temporarily sorts out the problem. We subsequently had the vehicle diagnosed and the following faults display:2510-1 Check Component Y77/1Boost Pressure Regulator Positioner Signals fault
2530-2 Check Component M55 Inlet Port Shutoff Motor Short circuit to ground
Our local mechanics state that the vehicle requires 1) A new inlet-port shut off motor 2) Complete Turbo and Actuator. This repair is substantially expensive. Upon reading BM World Forums, there are threads whereby only the Actuator needs to be replaced or faulty wiring on X26.. Your guidance will most sincerely be appreciated.

check in the fuse box in the engine bay and see if fuse 104 is blown - it is a 15amp - runs left to right - sort of in the middle area (the 104 number is hard to read)
If so it is most likely caused by the M55 - try unplugging it (under the intake Y pipe), then replace fuse - see what codes you have now? - see if the fuse stays intact - the m55 unplugged will show a CEL still. but hopefully only that code - may need to delete codes
I recently had this and the y77/1 was showing as bad - but when the 104 fuse got fixed it went away (error in M55)
I had like 15 codes - with MAF etc as well (all powered thru 104 when it was out).
