Radio/Navigation replacement

I recently purchased a 2010 ML350. The radio works fine but the GPS is flaky, not recognizing many addresses. The Mercedes website lists a map update for $100 but it's from 2017. The website also states that this would be the last update they will offer. Before spending the $100 I tried to determine if the update had already been installed but neither I nor the dealer could find a way to do that so I started looking for an aftermarket replacement unit. I've seen quite a few generic 2 din units but Ebay has a bunch that are designed to be direct replacements for the factory Mercedes unit. Here is an example - Android 8.1 For Mercedes Benz ML320 GL320 GL350 Car DVD Radio Player Stereo GPS | eBay . There are a dozen listed but all are made in China by a company called Hizpo. I'd like to know if anybody here has used any Hizpo products and how well they worked. We all know how finicky Mercedes' systems are with aftermarket products and I don't want to cause any other issues. If anybody has any suggestions for an aftermarket replacement, from any manufacturer, I'd like to hear about it. In addition to replacing the factory radio and GPS systems I'd also like a unit that works as a dash cam but that is not a critical requirement. Thanks for your help!

I've been considering this also. The command unit in my 2011 was woefully outdated back in 2011 so after just having a basic hire car with Android Auto and better sound I know I need to replace it.

i was thinking of just getting a Sony or Alpine Head unit (with Android Auto) and then accepting the need for a fascia adapter....too many horror stories on these Chinese Android Units

Yes, I'm also wary of the Chinese products. I expected the Sony, Bose, or Alpine units would be better made but what attracted me to the Hizpo units was their "direct replacement" for the factory unit. I've sent a request for more info to the seller, still waiting for a response.

I sent 7 questions and got a definitive answer on 2 of them. I got semi/sort of answers to the rest. It appears that the person who sent the message wasn't too fluent in English. I have not yet decided on whether or not to try this unit, looking at American made/brand name options.
