2012 ML350 bluetec error code 106100 and 153900
According to MB, I need to replace both up stream and downstream NOX sensor. Does anyone know how to fix it ?
Does NOX sensor available in the market other than MB Service Center ?

I have the same fault code on my 2011 ML350 with 74k mi. The car is new to me and I got it cheap as it was a leaker and I had to replace the oil cooler seals, timing chain, and threw in a water pump and timing belt while at it. That was a very big job, especially the new chain jumping teeth on install, and cleaning the gunk build up in the manifolds for hours. I cleared the faults from that, added a can of DPF cleaner to the fuel and did a 500 mile run to Tahoe and back getting 30mpg. No codes, rans awesome, powerful. Then after being back on the city streets for a couple of days I got a P2bad code, and the iCarcraft showed the
106100 upper limit
143700 short circuit pin 2 of 87
11B300 Component M3 fuel pump short to ground
11EC00 Starter control has short to ground
126800 Y77/1 chage pressure position is faulty
108800 Signal from B6/1 ( camshaft hall sensor ) is faulty
Lots to digest there, and I need to research more. But would like to hear from the smart guys about the 106100.
I did inspect the Adblue injector at the exhaust. Under magnification it was clean.
Any suggestions ?

Check the "Q" code on the sensors; if you replace the factory upstream sensor with one that says "Q 05" that means it has been updated and may not be compatible with the original downstream sensor. That is why MB recommends replacing them both.

2012 OM642 code 106100
Same issue here. This goes across models with OM642 engine. Blutec in other words.. Anyone found out what the fix was for this?
read on other treads it is recommended to change the up-stream then the down stream. Someone reported dealer changed one of them to no help and charged thru the roof and called for the car to go back to change the second sensor. Person was looking for help just as many others since we all know the rabbit hole dealers get you in. Never he reported back about the second sensor nor about a fix. Mine has 57k miles with no other emission problems since 42k miles purchased.
Help would be greatly appreciate it.
