Hello everyone I’m having a problem with my head unit in my w164 it turns on and off every 30 seconds plays sound and I can use it normally for those 30 seconds but it then randomly turns off then turns back on anyone know what’s going on?

 

You must check for codes in Command/Sound with a scanner, not a code reader. Look at all the possibilities.

 

How do I scan the command unit for codes?!

can you drop a link for a scanner? All I’m seeing is code readers also I’m just gonna try to replace the headunit do you think it will need to be re programmed?

Don't think about replacing the radio until you read for codes.
