ML320 CDI 2009 wont start

Hi Guys.
I am new here and tried searching the forum but have not found persons with a similar issue.

A few days ago, I was on a road trip and stopped at one of our designated stop points, when we were ready to depart the car would not start. Tried over 40 times but no luck. ignition lights coming on but it just refuses to crank or start.
After resting for 30mins or so, I tried again and to my surprise it started, there were no error lights or warning of any kind. Car drove fine for the rest of the trip but I did not switch off the ignition again until I got home.
The next morning I got up started the car and went to work with no issues, after work car started again, with no issues and took me home. The following morning when I tried to start I was not so lucky. Ignition lights come on but no cranking or started.
Since the the car refuses to start.
When I do a scan, it showing like the car is not in park. Got ISM module and programmed it but its the same result.
would appreciate any suggestions or help

And what was the code # ?

Where did you get the ISM?

I think your problem is with the Electronic Ign. Switch.

When you say ISM module are you referring to the one under the car near the exhaust or the Electronic Ign. Switch?

You bought a kit that is solely for a 177AMG and it was replaced 15 times.

What is the part # for the Elec. Ign. Switch, it is upside down in your photo?

Post your full vin#, no spaces and capitalize all letters.

As of your vin#, all three components are incorrect.

Ok this is extremely strange to me, I just looked at the original ECU that came with the car and the part number is correct, I am unsure of the ignition switch because it is not out at the moment but I also verified the ISM and that's the part number that came with the car and also the replacement parts that I purchased.
Initially I read that it could be a grounding problem with the ECU (apparently its a common fault), so I removed the original ECU, purchased a direct replacement and had the original cloned using one of the duplication services online, this also proved futile.
during my reading I was of the opinion that if I purchased ECU, ignition, key and locks from the same year model /part number I would be able to swap them out without programming and they would work, if the problem was Ignition or ECU related,(thats why I went this route) is this not the case?
As for the ISM its the same part number currently on the car that I purchased and had virginized and programmed, both ISM now doing exactly the same thing. Reason this was done is because we had gotten an error saying Car not in Park, which was pointing to an ISM fault. sorry i didnt save the error codes at the time. Will have to get my buddy to come out and do a scan again.

Any suggestions on next steps or why the part numbers differ from your system?
Also is there anywhere i can get a wiring diagram

The part #s were checked via M/B EPC (Electronic Parts Catalogue).

A wiring diagram for what?
