Hello, new here!
Have read a lot about my issue on the forums but can’t find one specific to my problem. Not shifting into park. 2011 Ml350 push button transmission. Shifts find in all positions but will not go into park. All other shifting works perfectly, but to get it into park, I have to open the door. Lots of references to solenoids, transmission modules and cables but I am assuming all those are working properly since it goes into park when the door is opened. Is it just the button on the end of shift lever since that is all that button does?Started working for a month or so but now nothing. I will assume if that’s the issue that the cluster behind the steering wheel will need to be replaced.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
