I'm chasing part number(s) for the front Airmatic strut assembly, including ADS, for my 2009 ML550. One airbag is shot so I'm replacing them and shockers as well.

VIN is WDC1641722A564750.

I'm looking at Arnott AS-2792 replacements (pictured below) or https://www.arnottindustries.com/as-...-left-or-right

All new Arnott shocks do not have ADS. They have an ADS simulator to trick the car. Only rebuilt Arnott shocks have ADS. If you see anything with "custom valved shock," it does not retain the OEM adaptive function. If you want new, you will have to get Bilstein shocks. Use RockAuto or FCPEuro to find the correct shocks.

Black, your vin# indicates that you have Airmatic. Do you want to keep Air or convert to spring ?
