Which sensor is this on a 2008 ML 320
Does anyone know which sensor this is. It is located on the drive side of the engine

Major Dundee
It is a 2008 ML 320 W164 CDI
And I live in Canada

You didn't update your profile correctly.

On the front of that component there should be a part # (my arrow). Clean it off and copy the part # which should look like this xxx xxx xx xx.

That looks like a fuel injector connector.

When the engine is running there seam to be air coming out of the connection.

2006 ML320 CDI (2 of) and 2008 GL320
Sounds like you need new injector washers. Maybe reseat. Don’t leave it too long or it gets hard to get injector out.

hopefully that is cause
