Transmission Dipstick

Hey all- I've been researching this for a while and I thought the 06-07 722.9 cars still had the locked dipstick access behind the engine but I can't find it on mine. I know I can check it through the filler at the bottom of the pan but I was hoping there was an easier way on this model. Trying to do whatever diagnosis I can on my auction lemon before I take it in for more service

These transmissions do not have a dipstick.

When fluid is changed (40k miles) it is both drained and refilled through the oil pan hole. Fluid is pumped in and special tool used.

if there is no evidence of leaking and trans was properly serviced last time, there is no need to”check.” If for some reason the level is not correct, it must be drained and replaced in any event.
