W164 Wheel Alignment Caster Angle
Hello,
My problem is, I changed the steering box and the steering is very hard, even the steering wheel does not straighten itself in turns. On the internet, if the caster angle is wrong, the steering wheel is hard and does not return to its normal axis.
I went to the Repair Shop and asked if the caster angles were correct, he said that the alignment was 5 degrees from my transaction history 1 year ago, nothing has changed since today, the problem is that the adjustment bolt of the steering box is too tight.
My question is, what is the caster angle in your W164s, do you have stock caster angle information? How are my results and yours? (My old steering box is also stiff)
I saw it like 10 degrees on other mercedes models, but I couldn't see a document for the w164.
i translate it to english from russian, by another document.
